Agni carpet seen from above: red organic forms on a black free-form ground

The Bhadohi Collection

Agni

A sculptural statement in vermilion and black. Agni (fire, in Sanskrit) traces molten, organic forms that spill across a free-form silhouette, so the carpet reads as a piece of art on the floor rather than a rectangle. Hand-tufted in New Zealand wool and finished by hand. Made to order by hand in Bhadohi, India. Each carpet takes around 45 days to complete; drying and finishing can take a little longer in humid or cold seasons.

Delivery & duties

Shipping costs for your destination are shown in your bag before payment. For deliveries outside the country of dispatch, import duties and taxes are not prepaid unless stated at checkout and may be payable by the recipient. See our Shipping Policy.

Care

Vacuum regularly on a low setting without a beater bar. Blot spills straight away with a clean, dry cloth. Do not rub. Rotate every few months for even wear and light exposure. Professional wool-carpet cleaning only.

Made by hand

Handcrafted carpets carry natural variations in colour, texture and dimension. Slight tonal shifts (abrash) and small differences in size are characteristics of handwork, not defects.
